My mother is a serious alcoholic. Shes been drinking since she was 13 and she is 50 yrs old now. She drinks at least 3 bottles of wine a day. She has no medical insurance and can’t afford rehab. I got a DUI like an idiot and live in PA. In PA you can’t get your license back until you finish treatment along with other things. The closest treatment center is over 20 minutes away driving so its not within walking distance. When they offer classes all my friends/family are at work. Does anyone know of any online only classes that I can take for free to get done with this treatment? Read more

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/ On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps. Read more

I bought Norton Antivirus 2007 a few months ago and installed in my HP XP Notebook. In testing TuneUp Utilities 2007 recently, I am advised that there is no Anti-Spam software in my computer. To get the Anti-Spam facilities, I have to pay for such.
My questions are: (1) Is it true that Norton does not have Anti-spam function? (2) Where can I get a FREE anti-spam software? (3) Can I install this Anti-spam software and have them running parallel in my computer? (4) If not, then what must I do? Thanks. Read more

For windows – 98 – Me & 2000 there is ADAWARE \ SE. This also works great and is free. It’s by lavasoft .http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
Spybot is ok. We use to put it on out customers computers, but found that Adaware\Se & Avg-Anti Spyware works even better.
